How we choose kits
- On the register. The exact model shows Compliant on the ENA Type Test Register. We check again before it goes on sale.
- Allowed in Great Britain. The maker approves it for plug-in use in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Specs we can show you. A datasheet with panel power, sizes, weights and output, so the comparison table is filled in from the source.
- A warranty in writing. We'll show who gives it and for how long.
- Sold as registered. No swapped panels, leads or frames.
- No battery claims. Plug-in kits must not be used with a home battery, so we won't list one sold that way.
We won't rank brands or call one the best. The table puts the facts side by side and you choose.
